Membership
DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR ORGANIZATION, ONLY INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP IS PERMITTED
  • Each actively participating (dues-paying) institution assigns one (1) representative to ACIMP
  • The selection of institutional representatives is determined by the delegate's institution. Depending on different institutions, this can be an appointment, an election, or some other form of delegated authority
  • Once assigned, institutional representation is non-delegateable, and any replacements must undergo formal approval process at their home institution
  • An assembly of institutional representatives will participate in consensus-based mechanisms designed to maintain up-to-date, state-of-the-art accreditation standards guided by the top content experts in academic international medicine (AIM)
  • Formal ACIMP site visits are facilitated, based on geographic proximity whenever possible, by institutional delegates
  • Delegates may be asked to participate, from time to time, on various ACIMP Taskforces and Committees
  • Participation and decision-making capacity of institutional delegates is limited to content expertise related to AIM, with administrative aspects of daily ACIMP operations handled by a professional administrative team
